Tiger Tales Newsletter: Week of April 13–17

Dear Tiger Families

It has been another great week at Sembach Elementary!

Last week, we proudly kicked off Month of the Military Child, a time dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the resilience, strength, and sacrifices of our military-connected students. We are incredibly proud of our students and the unique experiences they bring to our school community. Throughout the month, we look forward to honoring them in a variety of ways.

We also had a very successful Kid Shop on Friday, April 10. This event was organized and hosted by our Student Council, and we are proud of the hard work demonstrated by all of our students—from the student vendors to the Student Council members who planned and led the event. It was a great example of student leadership and creativity in action. A special thank you goes to Ms. Darcy, our Student Council sponsor, for her continued support and dedication to our students throughout the year.

As a reminder, there is no school on April 13 as teachers will be participating in professional learning.

To continue celebrating Month of the Military Child, we encourage everyone to participate in Purple Up Day this Wednesday by wearing purple to show support for our military-connected students.

Substitutes Needed

• We are currently seeking substitute teachers; interested candidates may reach out to Ms. Ilona Eicher at the school for further information.
• We are also in need of a qualified substitute nurse to support our students and staff.
