As we head into Spring Break, we hope all of our Sembach Tiger families enjoy a restful and refreshing time together. Spring Break runs from March 26 through April 5, and students will return to school on Monday, April 6. We look forward to welcoming everyone back energized and ready for a strong finish to the school year.
Anchored 4 Life Blanket Drive Success
We are proud to share that the Anchored 4 Life Blanket Drive was a tremendous success. Thanks to the generosity of our students, families, staff, and the broader Sembach community, we collected exactly 200 blankets for those in need.
Congratulations to the Bengals Tiger Neighborhood, who finished as our top contributors with 26 blanket donations. They have earned a Mr. Gann-approved extra recess at a time of their choosing.
Thank you to everyone who donated, including those who supported our additional drop-off locations. Your kindness and community spirit made a meaningful impact.
April is the Month of the Military Child
April is a special time to recognize and celebrate our incredible military-connected students. At Sembach Elementary, we are proud to serve children who demonstrate resilience, flexibility, courage, and strength as they navigate moves, deployments, and new beginnings.
Throughout the month, we will honor our students with special spirit days and activities designed to celebrate their unique experiences and contributions to our school community. We deeply appreciate the sacrifices military children make and are committed to supporting them every step of the way.
School-planned spirit days include:
- April 8 – Wear military gear or camo
- April 15 – Purple Up Day
- April 22 – Red, White, and Blue Day (Families and soldiers are invited to line the sidewalks to cheer on students as they arrive.)
- April 29 – “Where in the World Have You Lived?” shirt day
- Every Friday in April – PJ Day
Our PTO is also planning several additional Month of the Military Child events. More information will be shared after Spring Break.
