Tiger Tales Newsletter - April 5, 2024
Principal's Corner
Greetings, Tiger Nation!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Spring Break!! We are in the HOMESTRETCH for the school year, before we know it, it will be June!!The month of April is when we celebrate the Month of the Military Child. Each day, military connected children undergo unique challenges, which they face with resilience and dignity beyond their years. We would like to recognize that military-connected children make significant contributions to their communities while dealing with uncertainty and concern for their serve our Nation. The high demand of family responsibility that military-connected children accept takes courage and strength as they serve the Nation along with their parents. Our civilian men and women and those in uniform cannot focus on the missions or challenges ahead if they are concerned about their children at home. Sembach Elementary School, along with all worldwide, strive to provide safe, nurturing environments for military connected children to enable a stronger and more resilient fighting force. The Month of the Military Child reinforcesthis concept, reminds the Nation that the service members’ children also serve, and givescommunities an opportunity to share their gratitude for the service of military-connectedchildren. We hereby join the Nation in honoring our military-connected children throughout themonth of April. Please join us!!!! A special THANK YOU to all of you who participated in the PARENT PARADE this morning!!! We look forward to your support on Weds. 17 April when we will “line the walks” with military, community, and family members to welcome the students into school for the day!!
