Greetings, TIGER NATION!

Wow! Not only 1 snow day this week, but 2 ... and a 2-hour delay! I hope everyone stayed warm and enjoyed some extra family time this week! It looks like the temps are on the rise again with rain in the forecast coming next week. Please continue to be vigilant with being sure your child(ren) comes to school with the appropriate cold weather clothing.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as making these school safety calls fort he entire KMC takes quite a bit of coordination. We will always try to push emergency information to you as quickly as we can and over multiple platforms. Did you receive the emergency notifications from Everbridge DoDEA on your phone/email? If not, your contact information needs to be updated. If you ever need to update any parent/guardian/emergency contact phone numbers or emails, please let us know in the front office. 
 

Our 2nd round of Interim Assessments have been rescheduled and will begin this week. Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade will now be taking the Math Interim 2 on Wednesday24 January in the morning. Please help your child reach maximum success by ensuring a good night's sleep beforehand, eating a well-balanced breakfast the day of, and avoid appointments or being tardy that morning if possible. Thanks so much for your support!

Another fun event this month will take place on Thursday afternoon, 25 January...Family Math Night! Please refer to the attached flyer for details. Come learn some exciting games to support the math skills of Modeling and Reasoning! The PTO will have light snacks available and you‘ll be able to take all game instructions and supplies home with you! Family Math Night will take place between 1500-1700. Drop in when you can!

Don’t forget... District Teacher of the Year nominations are being accepted through 9 February! Please see the attached flyer on how to nominate a SES teacher, now!
