Principal's Corner

GREETINGS, TIGER NATION!
First and foremost, THANK YOU to all our VETERANS who have
proudly served our nation! The SEMBACH TIGERS appreciate you and
are grateful for your sacrifice and service.

Another short week has come and gone, but our students have
continued to work hard, persevere through academic challenges but
in the true spirit of the Power of YET... we all learn from our mistakes!
Way to go TIGERS!

It was wonderful seeing our 2nd grade students today, partner with
our 5th grade students for their “Buddy Lesson!” In partners and
small groups, students read a Veterans Day article together and
completed a timeline based on the article’s key details and then
verbally answered questions based on the text evidence! Great job
2nd and 5th grades! Working collaboratively in pursuit of our goal of
becoming better readers and writers!

We look forward to having our end of quarter TIGER TRAIT awards
assemblies at the end of next week, Friday 17 November. Teachers and
staff have nominated students based on
exhibiting our Tiger Traits! Parents of students
receiving an award this quarter will receive an
emailed invitation. At SES, we work hard to be a
TIGER, every day and in every way! GO SES TIGERS!
