21 January

kinder hard at work

Welcome to 3rd Quarter, TIGERS!!

As we begin the 3rd quarter and 2nd semester of our school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress and growth our students have made so far this year. We’ve had multiple singing events, after school clubs are up and running, students consistently show progress in the classroom and in assessments they complete to track their academic growth, the PTO has provided various opportunities for fun, and we’ve been lucky to enjoy a little bit of snow during our recess times recently! Not too much, but just enough!! On that note, PLEASE be sure your children are coming to school dressed according to the weather. Even when temperatures are cold, we will go outside for recess to release some energy and get some fresh air. Please be sure they are wearing an appropriate winter coat, gloves, hats, and scarves, etc.

Looking ahead:

~Second semester begins on the 21st. We’re excited for the opportunities ahead and look forward to continuing the great work we’ve accomplished so far.

~This week we look forward to our 2nd Student Council sponsored Kids Store on Thursday, 23 January. Many students are excited about this opportunity and introduction to entrepreneurship, and we thank Ms. Darcy, Student Council Sponsor and the members of Student Council for planning and hosting this event again this year! Please read more about this event on the attached flyer.

~Friday, 24 January we’ll host our next Coffee Talk in the library. Stop in during student drop off, from 0745-0815 to enjoy a cup of coffee, tea and a sweet treat or two. Members of our Building Leadership Team and I will be there to answer questions and get to know you!

CONGRATULATIONS to our recent TIGER ROAR Recipients!
