Greetings, TIGER NATION!

Recently, our Student Council presented the first ever, “Tiger Cub Shop!” Student entrepreneurs prepared items to sell, decorated their space/tables with important information about their items, and the sale took place! A selection of various homemade items was for sale: jewelry, candles, hair accessories, bookmarks, sugar scrubs, slime and decorated notebooks to name a few. In addition to this, cookies, muffins, and boba tea was available to purchase. There was even a portrait and balloon artist on site! It was a wonderful event, and I was so proud of all the students who worked so hard to not only bring the event to life, but who prepared and worked to sell their wares. Well Done, TIGERS!!!! Thanks to the PTO also for selling snacks and drinks during the event!

The next day, the Student Council sponsored a “90’s Themed Dance!” They actually planned two dances; a session for Kindergarten - 2nd grade students and then one for 3rd - 5th grade students! PTO was again on hand to sell pizza, drinks, and snacks while the DJ took requests! Thanks to all of the teacher and staff volunteers as well, who chaperoned and ensured the students had a great time! Who knew that our Tigers were so skilled at the “Macarena” and the “Cha Cha Slide!” :-)

School Year 24/25 Re-Registration: We are at 100%!!!! WOW!!!!! Thanks to EVERYONE who completed this task for us. I believe this is the first year where we have been at 100% prior to releasing for the summer. This is fantastic...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Now, if you have friends or colleagues moving into your neighborhood this summer, please encourage them to register as soon as they can! THANKS!

Our annual Field Day took place on Wednesday 29 May...It was an Olympic themed event where the entire school participated in various games and activities down on the large field. Smiles and laughter were seen and heard throughout the morning! Thank you to our PE Teacher, Ms. Darcy and our fabulous PTO for planning, prepping, and making this event happen!!!

At Sembach Elementary School we strive to provide safe, nurturing, and engaging

educational environments for all our students!

WE ARE, the SEMBACH TIGERS!

Have a WONDERFUL week, everyone!!
